Zombies stalk the night. Forget blood and brains. These monsters hunger for human souls. Sadly, they've got mine...
Alice Bell has lost so much. Family. Friends. A home. She thought she had nothing else to give. She was wrong.
After a new zombie attack, strange things begin to happen to her. Mirrors come to life, and the whispers of the dead assault her ears. But the worst? A terrible darkness blooms inside her, urging her to do very wicked things.
She's never needed her team of zombie slayers more, but ultra bad-boy Cole Holland, the leader and her boyfriend, suddenly withdraws from her...from everyone. Now, with her best friend Kat at her side, Ali must kill the zombies, uncover Cole's secret and learn to fight the darkness.
But the clock is ticking...and if she fails at a single task, they're all doomed.
So now were into book 2, and let me tell you so much happens!! Ok first like the description says the zombie's have Alice's soul, well at least part of it. We call her Zombie Ali. So does she defeat Z.A. and how much does it cost her? Oh and something big happens between her and Cole. I won't give too much away but you go from cheering them on as they kill all the zombies, to OMG, to heartbreak and tears. A lot goes down in this book but there is so much left in the story you can't wait to continue the series to find out more. I am already halfway through the next series and will be posting my review in a couple days, but for now i will leave you with this.. Pay attention to the titles in each chapter you may get a sneak peek of what is gonna happen in the chapter ;) !

The Adjustment
Program #5
The Program has been shut down, the handlers are gone, no more pills to stop memories.. Sounds perfect right? But what happens to those that went to the program? Or those who only went partially through it...
We follow Tatum, and her boyfriend Weston as they go on this journey together.
Weston was taken through the program, and completed before they shut down. Now he just returned to their school- since everything run under the program even the school was shut down. Now everyone is back in public school together, except Weston doesn't remember the love of his life Tatum.
Tatum decides she is not going to give up on him and will do everything in her power to get him to remember her and their love, a new therapy is being rumored to work,, The Adjustment.
Tatum and Weston decide to try the Adjustment, when they go to meet the doctor, a Dr. Mckee and his assistant Marie, they feel the pros outweigh the cons, and begin the adjustment.
Tatum will donate her memories through a series of truth serum, and electrodes attached to her, then once the memory is captured it is configured and transferred to Weston. The two of them go through 3 our of 4 Adjustments before Weston starts telling Tatum things don't feel right, his head and heart are at war, emotions dont make sense with the memory...
Could Tatum be lying about the memories of them and the emotions that went with them, or was something else going on entirely?
Random people begin showing up throughout Weston and Tatum's life, people they never spoke to before, and ever since the first Adjustment Tatum is experiencing headaches and nose bleeds, memory crash backs... How can this be for someone who never went through the Program?
A sinister plot twist takes place that leaves you in awe.. There is one more book in the series and sadly won't be released until 2018!!! There are so many twist and turns throughout this series, each page leaves you wanting more!

The Epidemic
The Program #4
In a world before the Program, Quinn helps people close out their grief. She can mimic anyones actions, speech, smell, everything about that person. Someone close to you died young? Then call the grief department and they will send in a closer to help you say goodbye and get past that part of the grief process so you can begin to heal and move on with your life...
In this last book we were left with Quinn hunting down Arthur to find her identity, In this book Quinn continues her search and finds Arthur's daughter Virginia is in connection with this. Every person Virginia comes into contact with dies, why? Is she the reason the program began or did it begin even before that?
Quinn learns why she can't remember her mom, or anything about her life before she became Quinn. She was sent in to help Tom (her dad) close out Quinns life, but Tom and Marie had different plans, and instead of using this child to help close that gap they turned her into Quinn. Now she is on the run from the grief department because she violated her contract, and they are taking all closers and transitioning them into Handlers.
We follow Quinn and Deacon on their journey to find Virginia, and Arthur the reason all this is happening. Along the journey we find more about what happened to Quinn, how Arthur has used memory manipulation on her, and she is his patient zero. Now he thinks that memory manipulation worked great and begins experimenting on his daughter Virginia. Except his daughter is stronger than he thought and she's remembering things he made her forget. She feels empty, a shell without a soul. One night Quinn is acting as her "friend" they go to a high school party where Virginia goes off and talks to a friend, Micah. While Quinn is standing by watching everyone she notices a young boy Roderick standing alone in the corner acting off. He's the host of the party yet he isn't enjoying one second of it, just the previous week his girlfriend was sent into the mental institution and they dont think she will be let out. Quinn watches in horror and unable to act quick enough as Roderick walks to the balcony and jumps. Quinn and Virginia race out of there, before Virginia leaves she tells Quinn to remind her of tonight if she forgets.
Virginia forgets Quinn, forgets Roderick and soon Micah as well, sadly it seems every one that is friends with Virginia is dying. Why? Is it a virus or is she saying something to them. Meanwhile Arthur is setting his plans in motion to begin the Program, every one under 18 is mandated to attend and be cleansed. Arthur has no idea how badly he is messing his daughter up, he doesn't want to see that every time he is taking a little more of her away.
One night they are hiding out, waiting for Virginia after a meltdown at a Volleyball game, she screamed that she remembered everything and was taken away by her father. Quinn knows she can't leave Virginia behind- so they see her and take her away to talk. Arthur knows who took his daughter, and tells Marie (their advisor) if they dont return his daughter he will issue an Amber Alert.
Deacon has left the motel where they are hiding to get the truth from Marie, but it has been hours, and now Marie called and never mentioned Deacon being there, just that she needs her best closers to come over ASAP.
Quinn, Aaron, Reed, Shep and Tabitha are suppose to be there..Except only Quinn, Read, Aaron and Shep are there. Shep is quickly dismissed by a envelope full of money, we find out that he was comprimsed and is a handler. Tabitha "tabby" is missing, deacon is missing. Arthur? We dont know yet but think so. Quinn and Aaron listen to Marie when she tells them to hide, Arthur is coming and so is the Program. They leave and watch in horror as Reed has been different ever since dropping off Virginia.
Reed can't take what Virginia told him, how she knows what her father has been doing to her, how he's taking away her memories and making her into a new person. He will be doing this to everyone. Reed only has one person he ever cared for and it was his late Girlfriend Katy. (she passed sometime before the book.) He couldn't take not remembering her ever, so before Arthur came with the Program Reed takes his life in the bathroom of the motel while Quinn slams and screams at him from the other side of the door.
Quinn and Aaron are the only ones left, and they are going to do one dumbass plan, go straight to Arthur.
What will happen? Will they escape with Deacon or will the Program take them?

The Remedy
The Program # 3
"The Only Cure for a Broken Heart is the... Remedy."
"In a world before The Program…
Quinlan McKee is a closer. Since the age of seven, Quinn has held the responsibility of providing closure to grieving families with a special skill—she can “become” anyone.
Recommended by grief counselors, Quinn is hired by families to take on the short-term role of a deceased loved one between the ages of fifteen and twenty. She’s not an exact copy, of course, but she wears their clothes and changes her hair, studies them through pictures and videos, and soon, Quinn can act like them, smell like them, and be them for all intents and purposes. But to do her job successfully, she can’t get attached.
Now seventeen, Quinn is deft at recreating herself, sometimes confusing her own past with those of the people she’s portrayed. When she’s given her longest assignment, playing the role of Catalina Barnes, Quinn begins to bond with the deceased girl’s boyfriend. But that’s only the beginning of the complications, especially when Quinn finds out the truth about Catalina’s death. And the epidemic it could start."
Your sucked into this book the moment you begin reading, imagine a world where we could be replaced. A world where someone like Quinn comes in and mimic's everything about us, just so our loved ones can say their good byes or how sorry they are for our death. How would you know who you or anymore? Or even what's real?
We follow Quinn on this journey through every twist and turn, the last assignment she nearly loses herself, but she is brought back, just to question every thing again! The shocking end will have you running to the store for the next book in the series!

The Program
Teen suicide is an epidemic, and the only solution is The Program.
Sloane knows better than to cry in front of anyone, especially her parents or at school... If they think she's depressed for any reason shell be sent to the Program and be wiped clean.
They call them the "returners" they dont remember anyone or anything from their past, they are new people, they dont even dress like themselves anymore...
What is really going on in there? Sloane and her boyfriend James can't help but wonder as they have heard their friend Lacey who was taken to the Program 6 weeks ago is now back-- does she remember them? does she remember her boyfriend Miller?
The 3 of them, Sloane, James, and Miller decide to go to the school where "the returners" have to attend, seeing as too much stimulus on their brains could cause total malfunction. They want to see if Lacey remembers them, sadly she does not... For Miller it becomes to much to take and ends his life....
Now Sloane and James have to not only carry on living like nothing is wrong, but have to hide the grief setting in from losing their friend.
James can't take it and cant hide it anymore, the school notices, and his dad notices... They call the program and he's sent away.
Now Sloane is left all alone-- she tries to carry on like nothing is wrong while inside she is dying.. She goes to the wellness center, which is a place for returners and non returners to "hang-out" in a safe place for them and everyone else. Except Sloane is there hoping to see James. One day he walks in and looks at her like she is a stranger.. To him she is nobody, they never had a past, and never loved her.
Sloane is unable to accept that and begins to fall apart, that night she screams at her parents and takes off- she is going to end her life but she can't go through with it...
Fast forward: her mother calls the Program on her, sloane is sent to the Program, and she is wiped clean. The things that go on are unthinkable- you must voluntarily take the meds they give you or your forcefully injected- you talk about things you dont want to talk about- then after your given another med and stumble down the hallway to your bedroom. Where the handler that gives you the creeps is standing there with that creepy smile. Blackout... Wake up in your bed straped down, being told your a danger to yourself...Blackout... Wake up to the nurse telling you its time to eat. What happened to the creepy handler ? Did he rape you?
I WONT GIVE AWAY TOO MUCH! But this is a must read for any suspense, sic-fi, young adult fan! A series and I'm currently reading the second book! Just as good!!

Dead and Delicious
This is a series, and number 5 in the series!
The book begins with Ash and her new husband Aiden being called moments after saying 'I DO" to fight the apocalypse. A witch named Lucia who Ash had banned to hell a while back in another book has managed to not only escape hell but open the sixth dimension of hell on earth!
We follow Ash and her husband through fighting dragons, zombies, demons, and oh being turned into a Zombie themselves! What a way for your new husband to be looking at you when your decomposing with maggots coming out of every opening possible.
They have to manage to stay alive long enough to kill the witch, but they cannot succumb to their zombie nature of only saying "hungry" and eating humans.
I loved how easily this book moved and stayed with me, i loved how animated the author was and when you think of hell, the apocalypse, zombies and everything else in this book the author got it on point!
A very fun summer read with lots of humor, love and of course zombies!!
"Five things I learned while being a fallen angel zombie:
1. Duct tape works better than embalming.
2. Alopecia is not my favorite hairstyle.
3. Fried demons smell like bacon.
4. This brain breath is affecting my love life.
5. Nothing ruins a honeymoon like an apocalypse."

Condition Book 2
So this is the second book in the series, you don't have to read book one to follow this one but it helps!
In this book we get transported back into a time when war, nazi's and hitler still ran everything.
The most wanted Nazi in the world is hiding out in a small town, his name is now "uncle Joe" but no one knows who he really is. A young cop is sent there because he's told by his boss that the church is performing abortions and murdering young children. When the cop arrives at this small town, he finds that no one is being murdered but that the town's people, if you can call them that want to report a missing person.
We quickly learn that this "uncle Joe" has been performing horrible procedures on the children of the town, since every child has major facial deformities, along with growth issues.
As we continue throughout the story we learn more about his procedures, and what exactly was done to the children.
Now we fast forward to the year 2026, a miracle cure has began to take place for Alzheimer patients (remember book 1?) well now it is in full production, but many patients after being cured are taking the death with dignity act, which allows them to die whenever they wish. The scientist in charge of this who calls himself Sir John Savage, is working on curing more than Alzheimer patients, he is trying to rehab murder's, rapist, the worst of the worst. His partner has just been arrested for child porn, but he never looked, searched or downloaded child porn, so how did it get onto his computer?
Sir John Savage has what he hopes to be a solution to a lengthy prison sentence, he will perform this procedure to rehabilitate his work partner... Except after the procedure is done, he finds himself amazed by what was done, he can think faster, see the beauty in everyone and everything, do things beyond any human could ever dream.
Fast forward to 2027-2028 Sir John savage is arrested and the court is trying desperately to put him behind bars, except his sister arrives in the court and demands to him that he tell the court who he really is.... I can't ruin anything but it will blow your mind ! Worth the read if you were a fan of book 1 !!

Lost Boy
Everyone knows the classic fairy tale of Peter Pan and Captain hook, but this is a new story the correct story...
"There is one version of my story that everyone knows. And then there is the truth. This is how it happened. How I went from being Peter Pan’s first—and favorite—lost boy to his greatest enemy.
Peter brought me to his island because there were no rules and no grownups to make us mind. He brought boys from the Other Place to join in the fun, but Peter's idea of fun is sharper than a pirate’s sword. Because it’s never been all fun and games on the island. Our neighbors are pirates and monsters. Our toys are knife and stick and rock—the kinds of playthings that bite.
Peter promised we would all be young and happy forever.
Peter lies." (netgalley)
You will fall in love with this version of the story we all grew up loving, the hero we all wished would come and take us away to never neverland. Except this tale will make you run in the opposite direction never to look back. We follow Jamie as the tale is told from his perspective, and we learn how Pan goes to the other place to find boys and bring them back to his island. Once they get their all the promises of no rules and fun all the time, are quickly taken away. Pan has rules on his island they cannot ever leave, and must learn to fight, they cant kill the many eyed or the pirates unless they have too during a raid.
We eventually learn some very disturbing things about Pan, and quickly learn who Jamie turns out to be in the infamous fairy tale. A great summer read for any fan of Peter Pan story, but beware for this tale changes your view on your favorite childhood hero.

The Fear
"Fear is all in the mind ...
But Mia’s nightmares become a reality when she and her troubled sister, Jamie, inherit their deceased uncle’s house and experience phenomena that extends way beyond a typical haunting. Only Mia’s infant daughter is aware of the sinister presence of a man that roams freely about the house, but it’s Jamie who has become the subject of the entity’s torment.
No one’s secrets stay buried for long, and the psychological abuse that the family are forced to endure soon turns physical, with the demon’s attachment to Jamie taking on a sexually violent nature. When the evil spreads beyond the boundaries of the house and wreaks chaos in the lives of those closest to Mia, she knows that she must uncover the house’s past, along with the identity of its ghostly inhabitant, in order to sever his hold on anyone who enters." (Netgalley)
Fear is a perfect title for this book because it will put fear into your mind and heart..
We follow Mia, her daughter Louisa, and Mia's sister Jamie throughout this story of horror. They recently had to put their mother into a care home for Alzheimer's disease, due to a incident at their original house. Once that happened they had to sell their home, and move into their recently passed Uncle's home where they could afford to live and take care of their mother. Except once they move in things begin to happen, strange things...
The first to experience this sinister feeling in the home is the youngest Louisa, who can see what she calls the "shadow man" and listens to him rant and rave about Mia, and Jamie. She begins to draw pictures and begins cursing at people in her life. (mind you she is very young only 5-6 years i believe). Mia works at a catering hall, where one day during a "halloween themed" party, Mia who already had a scare earlier in the day see's someone upstairs where no guests are allowed- as she follows this person upstairs she comes to a window to find her "mother" hanging from a tree- once someone else see's Mia running out of the building toward the tree- they chase her down and calm her down enough to see it is not her mother but an elderly woman who hung herself.
Now why is this detail so important? We find out later but the scare Mia had earlier that sent her into crazy mode- well she was in the bathroom and see's this figure who appears to be her mother except she's dead and screaming at her "THIS IS YOUR FAULT!" then as Mia tries to escape the horrid image she slips and is forced into the tub which is now filled with blood water and her mother's ghost is trying to drown her...
Sounds insane right? Well this book gives you chilling detail one after another, and the imagery it puts inside your head will have you running for the hills!
A must read for any fan of Horror!!

Condition- Book One
What if a single pill could cure any alignment you suffer from? Big deal some side effects, right? If it means you don't ever have to suffer from dementia, alzheimer's, or even change a murderer into a perfect citizen? Would you join in the movement and take it?
The book begins with Dan in a plane crash, he is describing what is happening around him- the rescue crew is there but the plane is burning and the flames are about to reach him, he realizes the plane is on his side because he can see grass, wild flowers and a single bubble bee. The flames are now taking over him, and he is watching the flames take away the skin on his right arm, down to the point he doesn't even feel the pain anymore; meanwhile the flames are hitting the rest of his body as well....
Next thing Dan knows he is waking up in the hospital, 6 months later. He is covered in 100% burns, and has lost a significant amount of weight and muscle mass. Dan is alarmed to see his body at first, but then looks over and see's his wife and his friend Tony there with him. They are comforting him until he doctor comes in and asks a series of questions that will be asked throughout the book- what year is it? Who is the prime Minster? What is your Name? Who won the world cup? And what happened in the aircraft crash?
As from the questions you can figure out it is based in England- though the language is not difficult and very easy for American readers to understand.
Dan is able to answer every question except what happened in the aircraft crash.... Why is that? Dan begins to question everything around him, the doctors and nurses have singled out a single medication ( the red pill ) but why only that one? And why does he have the choice not to take it?
Paranoia and Hallucinations are beginning, he is starting to see his brother Brian- trying to help him piece back together everything that has happened.
The twist and turns this book will put you through is crazy, i never screamed OMG so many times during a book before, and continued to run upstairs and tell my family about the book because it was insane! I enjoy most of the books i read but this one leaves you with something, a summer series your going to want to read!

The Beautiful Ones
"Antonina Beaulieu is in the glittering city of Loisail for her first Grand Season, where she will attend balls and mingle among high society in hopes of landing a suitable husband. But Antonina is telekinetic, and strange events in her past have made her the subject of malicious gossip and hardly a sought-after bride. Now, under the tutelage of her cousin’s wife, she is finally ready to shed the past and learn the proper ways of society.
Antonina, who prefers her family's country home to the glamorous ballrooms of the wealthy, finds it increasingly difficult to conform to society’s ideals for women, especially when she falls under the spell of the dazzling telekinetic performer Hector Auvray. As their romance blossoms, and he teaches her how to hone and control her telekinetic gift, she can't help but feel a marriage proposal is imminent.
Little does Antonina know that Hector and those closest to her are hiding a devastating secret that will crush her world and force her to confront who she really is and what she's willing to sacrifice." (Netgalley description)
When i began reading this book i found myself hooked, i was so captured by the story and what would come of it.
This book not only shows you how things were in a time that seems to foreign to us now, but it transports you back in time. You will feel as if you are living right there with Nina and Hector following along with every heartbreak, lie, passion and love.
Nina is a simple county girl sent to the city where her cousins wife Valerie will watch after her and turn her into a proper lady to be wed. Nina is attending her first grand ball where she meets Hector Auvray and as any young girl will be she is smitten with him and his amazing talent. We find out that Nina has the same talent as Hector and the two begin to bond over that. Nina is finding herself falling in love with Hector, but he has not shown any romantic feelings towards her.
Hector is in love with Valerie, and has been for over 10 years. We learn that while they were young they has a summer romance and he had to leave town and make his fortune, he asked her to wait and he shall return for her. Sadly she did not wait, and she married a wealthy man. When Hector returned he only thought of her and wanted to try to win her back and have her run away with him, little did he notice that Nina was falling in love with him.
Valiere we will learn is a spiteful woman and will do anything to remain on this pedestal Hector has her on, she will not leave her husband and she will not show Hector any affection but she remains prudent in the fact that no one will have Hector.
A summer goes by- Hector and Nina are no longer speaking- they havent seen each other in a year now...
The second Grand season is back in swing and Nina has arrived in the city once more, she does not plan to see Hector or speak to him, and a new man has his sights on Nina, a Luc Lemy. He is young, passionate and a bit wild. Nina finds herself having fun and enjoying his company but Luc is greedy and wants to make his own money the way he wants too, not by his family business. Luc sets his sights not only on Nina but on her money and quickly steps in to wed her.
Nina and Hector have found each other once more and now Nina is engaged to be married, except she does not love Luc and is unsure what to do.
I won't give it all away, but i can promise you it is worth the read!

Reality Alternatives
Science fiction for the modern age...
The cover actually caught my attention, it shows 2 girls seemingly in parallel worlds. Turns out that is exactly what it is.
Chloe is a physicist and she is working on an experiment that is exactly like VR except she and her assistant Emily, are working on reaching a parallel world.
The first experiment seems like it doesn't work, chloe goes into the VR headset and see's what she thinks is an ocean, but where she lives there is no ocean nearby. She's thinking that a parallel world should reflect what she currently knows, and not somewhere else.
Second time she tests out her experiment she realizes, that it was not an ocean she was seeing but a pool, which made more sense. She soon realizes she has a whole different life, a husband and 2 sons. She's happy, in love, and soon forgets all about the real world.
She spends a few hours immersed in the VR world, she is living as this other Chloe, except everything and everyone is not as happy as her. Her brother Colon, a war vet is suffering from severe depression in this other world, while in real life he is perfectly healthy and happy. In this parallel world he is a paraplegic, suffering injuries related to war in Iran.
Eventually Chloe becomes obsessed with this VR world, we have been following her journey through it, and some strange things are happening over there, her 2 sons and Chloe have "magic" they have suddenly been able to make things levitate, appear, stop mid air.... Things don't happen like that in the real world-- but to Chloe that is her real life, she doesn't remember she is only in a VR immersion...
Around thanksgiving time, she tells her family she has to work through the holiday and her family accepts that, but in reality she is going to VR immersion again. She has a hired a nurse to give her IV fluids and nutrition so she can test how long someone can stay in VR for.. We follow her throughout VR until Christmas eve, where she is awoken, very upset she goes back... While she is there her magical abilities have caught the eye of the town, and Homeland Security, now we are following Chloe and her family as they run from the government, and all the trouble that comes with having superpowers.
Eventually she is pulled out again this time by her brother Colon, he is worried sick about her, she has been missing for weeks now- her family unable to get in contact with her, and no one has seen her. Little does she know it is now February and she has been in VR since thanksgiving.
Her brother destroys her VR headset, and Chloe is unable to return to her happy life with a husband and children.
Does this husband exist her real world? Maybe... The ending will leave you smiling and hoping for a sequel to see how the events play out in the real world or was it just Chloe dream to have this happy life she saw in VR...

Select Review
This book gives you it all! Sci-fi, romance, comedy, suspense and the best cliff hanger ending!! An advance e-book copy was given to me for an honest review- and i fell in love with this book! So it begins with this young girl named Julia and her friends (the lost kids) they call themselves. They have special abilities than make them differ from the outside world- they aren't even aware yet of some of the abilities they have. So we follow Julia throughout the book- how her life gets changed by every choice she makes. Her father is the leader of their community (which is also all supernatural people) they have to hide their talents from outsiders (normal people) because not only do they posse unnatural abilities such as speed, strength, beauty, some also have a talent to control people, things, and even minds. They feel as though they will not only be killed for these things if the real world knew everything about them, but that they would become government test rats. So understandably so, they hid and continue to move and hid every few years. We watch Julia who does nothing wrong- but is made an example out of by her father, sent to a regular school to show she can follow rules and blend in with every day people. During this time she learns to keep to herself until she meets John- who will change her life, she learns amazing new things about herself, about the outside world, and eventually about her "family." The ending is completely unexpected and WOW the cliff hanger it leaves you with. This is number 1 in a series that will be available in october... Until then loves- you must wait and hope you enjoy this as much as i did!!

Uglies series Review
Uglies #1 (in series): This book caught my attention from the book cover actually, i found it to be interesting because they show you a white cloth with woman's fingernails painted bright colors. Almost as if she was fake, the skin looks perfect. Too good to be true kind of thing. The story tells about a future where everyone at sixteen gets a surgery to be "pretty" and move out of the current town everyone lives in called ugly ville. I know sounds insane but the book was actually really interesting and fun to read. So while the book goes about telling us how amazing it is to be living in the "pretty town" we see the main character Tally who can't wait to turn sixteen and have her surgery so she can leave the dorm, and move on with her life, and re connect with her best friend who had the surgery already. Then we learn about this group called "smokies" who are anti-pretty. They dont want the surgery, and they don't want to change their appearance, so they live out in the "wild" and are calling for more young boys/girls to join their cause, and fight against the government and this surgery.
Pretties #2: In this book, Tally has finally become pretty, and the perks of being pretty. Pretty mind- no negative thoughts, a non-stop party, all the friends she could ever want, a nice fancy house to live in with the best technology. What more could a girl want right? Except Tally feels like something's wrong- something she forgot when she was an ugly... Thats when something, or someone comes from her past and she remembers. Now Tally makes the hardest decision, does she ignore what she remembered, or does she fight against the government ? This book was action packed and had you on the edge of your seat waiting to see what would happen.
Specials #3: Now we are in the third book of the series, and a lot has happened- I'm not giving away any major spoilers- just giving you the basic overview. So now we have read what Tally decided and how it affected her life, and her friends lives. So in this series, we learn about the myserteous "Specials" who were thought to be just a rumor to scare kids into behaving. Much like our tall tale of the bogeyman. Except the specials are anything but a tale- they are real and much scarier than anyone could have thought. Tally has been turned into one of them, she is a super fighting machine meant to keep the uglies at bay, and the pretties stupid- in their happy party world. Once again Tally feels that familiar tingle of something she forgot, does she hold onto that? When the head Specials give her the task to finally stomp out the "new smokies" does she take her Special mind and run with their orders- or does she finally give into that feeling and remember everything- and fight against her now very nature... Read to find out..
Extra's #4: I started to read this but was unable to actually get through it- since it didn't involve any of the characters from the previous books, this is set years afters Tally and her friends. It is also set in another area of the world, i believe Asia or Japan.. Sadly i cant give you a review since like i said i didn't enjoy the few sections i did read.
This is deff a series i enjoyed- even though it is labeled young adult/teen. I still found it be to fascinating, i loved that i was able to transport into a different world, and the descriptions are so amazing you can picture yourself there with them following along.
